At Lange Groendendaal 72 in Gouda is Gallery & Atelier Roosenburg located. In this historic building from 1907, we (father Kees and son Arjan) collect art from - mainly - the romantic 19th century. In the studio, we work on our own work that is inspired by this picturesque period.

The character of a truly antique painting cannot easily be captured in a picture on a website. This work needs to be smelled and viewed from various distances. That is also why we collect genuine works from this period. In our gallery, antique brushstrokes, including craquelure and aged frames, can be admired. Experience the 19th century!
Own work
Kees Roosenburg paints, following the classical masters, mainly romantic landscapes and cityscapes in oil paint.
Arjan Roosenburg enjoys working with pen and watercolor pencils. He is inspired by the classical masters but also loves to give it a contemporary twist.
